In cases of heavy algae infestations, a shock dose may be necessary to reach a free chlorine level of 5mp/l (ppm).
For optimal distribution, add the algaecide to the water while the pump is running, preferably near the water inlets. Larger pools require slightly higher doses, with a small pool of 40,000 liters (8,800 gallons) needing 600ml for algae removal, 300ml for the initial dose, and 60ml for the weekly dose. Medium-sized pools of 60,000 liters (13,200 gallons) will benefit from 900ml for algae removal, 450ml for the initial dose, and 90ml for the weekly dose.
